I tutored other college students in basic algebra on a one-on-one basis. I worked as a teacher's aide as well where I helped students with school work (particularly math). I want to be a tutor because I think it will be a good experience for me since I want to be a teacher. Sometimes just having someone else attempt to explain something to a student is enough for that student to get the material. Right now I'm taking an introductory biology course, intro to environmental science, math for the elementary teacher 2, life science for educators, and music for the elementary teacher.
