Tutoring 8th grade girl in Math and Spanish. AP US History 4, AP European History 4, AP Psychology 5, AP Language and Composition 3 I love tutoring and working one on one with students. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to help a student learn about a particular subject and show them that the subject matter is not as difficult as they once perceived it to be. I've taken Spanish 200 and 201 in college as well as four years of Spanish in high school (Spanish 2-5), Calculus I and II, Intro to Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Several Writing and Research Classes. I will be taking a math class on Topics in Geometry this fall. I have taken AP European and United States History classes. I will be taking a World History class this fall. I've spent many preclinical hours in a classroom setting working one on one with students and teaching several whole class lessons. I've worked with several different teachers and have learned many different teaching styles. I've learned that all students are unique and sometimes need to be taught outside the box in order to reach their specific learning style.

I have been a nanny for the past two and a half years for children ranging in ages from newborns to 11 years old. I love working with kids and have tutored before in the past. I played basketball all throughout high school and for a year in college before I got injured. Now I focus solely on my academics but I miss playing everyday. Because of my involvement in varsity sports in high school, including volleyball and basketball, as well as traveling basketball teams outside of my high school, I understand the necessity of time management and how to divide time between school, sports, family life, and social events. I am very close with my family and consider them my biggest supporters in anything that I do. Having a strong family support system is integral for success in any environment. I love baking and cooking as well as decorating cakes. I'm a very patient person, which has served me well working with students. I love being challenged and thrive in problems that are not easily solved.
