Relevant experience would be that I work as a nanny and a lot of my job involves helping the kids with homework and learning new concepts. I also volunteered in the autism impairment classroom in high school by helping teach the kids in the program basic skills for life and learning. I want to be a tutor because I find it very rewarding to be able to help someone learn something that they were previously struggling with. Plus, it will help me earn money that I can put towards future graduate school expenses. I have taken classes in psychology, English, (focused on grammar and writing), sociology, social work, business, etc. I am very organized and detail oriented. During my school career I have learned many helpful study tools/skills and organization techniques.
