Experience

I have not officially tutored anybody, but I have helped a number of friends. I have helped them bring grades from failing to a passing grade in the 80's or above. I started taking the ACT as an eighth grader, and took it for three years. My sophomore year I earned a 25. As a travel hockey player I did not have time to take it in the following years. I enjoy helping to make a difference in other peoples lives. Education is important to me, and I want to become a teacher. I think it would be great to work one on one with students now.

Hobbies

I am very athletic. I play hockey for NMU, and I played softball and tennis in high school. I find it very important to be involved in extracurriculars as well as do well in all classes. This helps for a more well-rounded person. I am very easy going and can make conversation about just about anything. I have taken a wide variety of classes as I never knew what I wanted to do. I was also on the debate team for two years. There is a lot I know about a lot of various topics, and will do what I can to find a way to make things interesting to learn.
