Hobbies
Currently completing my M.S. in Cancer Biology at NMU in conjunction with the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center (UMBTC). My thesis interests lie in the field of cancer genomics and immunology; specifically I am investigating the genetic underpinnings of cancer-related inflammation in the most malignant form of brain cancer known as Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Following completion of my M.S., I plan on attending Medical School and specializing within either Rheumatology, Oncology or Infectious Disease. Beyond academics, I enjoy snowshoeing, kayaking, hiking and sailing. I'm also an avid sports fan and particularly enjoy watching and attending Major League Baseball games.
